The left-hand side (or something appearing on the left or coming from the left) can represent perceived or imagined: Receiving or taking.
Intuition.
Creativity.
Femininity.
“Going with the flow.” Liberal political views (as in “the left”).
Negativity.
Something else you personally associate with the left side.
Also consider the context and meaning of whatever’s on the left side.
Doing something left-handed when you’re actually right-handed can represent challenging yourself (perhaps unnecessarily), trying something new or in a new way, looking at something from a different perspective.
